Kelly Obit
No funeral ceremonies are planned for Charles Edmond Kelly, 69, Enid.
Cremation arrangements were under the kind
guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Charles
was born on August 15, 1941 in Tahlequah and
died Monday
morning, February 14, 2011 at St. Mary's Regional
Medical Center. He was raised in McAlester, graduating from McAlester
High School with the class of 1960. Charles
graduated from Okmulgee Tech with an associates degree in printing.
Charles enlisted in the National Guard, moving in
1967 to California where he became a beautician. Charles moved to
Louisville, Kentucky where he worked for a liquor
distributor, later working for General Electric. He then worked for a
printing company. Charles moved back to
McAlester in 1976 and to Enid in 2004. He is survived by his companion,
Doris James of the residence; son, Drake
Kelly of Jemison, Kentucky; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Brother, Junior Hernandez of Shawnee,
Oklahoma. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and
one grandchild.

The Family Dinner will be Sunday, May 29, at
the air conditioned VFW Hall in McAlester at 12pm. Bring a dish, your
favorite beverage, and your camera. Juniper Point is hosting the
regular Campers. The McAlester Motel 6 is hosting the more
delicate campers.
